Josey started taking steps and walking this past weekend! She falls A LOT, but is getting better and better each day.
I took the video today, she suddenly started walking to me from the living room. She always does great when she's focused on where she's going.
Casey and I agree that it looks strange to see her upright moving around! We're so used to her speed crawling by our feet, that Josey looks so tall wobbling through the house!
What a big girl!! I used to never be able to imagine her doing these things, and here she is walking through the house! I want to hold on so tight to her!
Josey stood up for the first time this afternoon. Wow, what a big girl! She just had her diaper changed, and has always been eyeballing our remotes. Once she squirmed away from me, with her new diaper, she went right to the chair and pulled herself up!

I'm saying she's naughty because she knows she's not supposed to have the remotes. How bad is it that her motivation for standing for the first time, is to do something she knows she isn't supposed to?

Josey really likes playing with books! I've always loved reading, and I'm told I was interested in books since I was a baby. So this makes me smile :) Crazy how that is!
Playing in laundry baskets is a new game, along with trying to pull all of the clean clothes out before I can fold them. Josey loves that little "race" and squeals the whole time!
As Josey is scooting around the kitchen, she finds all sorts of new things. Last week it was Dad's Camelback (water backpack for hiking, biking etc.) and she actually figured out how to drink from it!
Josey's new favorite thing to say! Grandma Kathy taught this to her sunday evening, and she's randomly been saying it since! Casey loves to get her to say it :)

This little evening viewing of dirt bikes for sale had gone on for MONTHS! After the millionth online viewing and me saying "NOOOO!", and Casey saying "PLEEEASE!". I told him that it could be a "yes" from me if he quit smoking. Cause the dirt bike is much cheaper!! Casey happily agreed and within a week and a half there is a dirt bike in our garage! Why didn't we think of this sooner?
For you who want to know what kind of dirt bike this is it's a 2010 Gas Gas XC 250. Also known as "The Conquistador", which is Spanish for "beat KTM". (not literally translated that way) Casey is adamant that you call the bike "The Conquistador".

In other news we have a crawler! Well... kinda. She does this crazy army crawl thing but she is getting everywhere! And getting into everything! Josey is starting to learn what no means. She has such big feelings. She bawls her eyes out, ducks her head and wont look at you when you get after her. Soo sad!
